YMCA of Northern Colorado

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility by providing a welcoming environment and fostering a caring community for all. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Welcomes members. • Help new members to get set-up and oriented for first class. • Supports instructor by making announcements about upcoming YMCA events, programs, and “need to know” information. • Introduces members to other members and staff. • Answers member questions, recommends other YMCA programs. • Regularly makes calls, sends cards, etc. • Communicates any problems, concerns or “mission moments” with leadership. Follows-up on communication as needed to ensure resolution. Ask questions for clarification. Reads weekly updates. • Assists in creating a festive atmosphere for holidays and celebrations. • Help to organize and participate in work days. • Supports and participates in member social events an activities.
