YMCA of Northern Colorado
The YMCA of Northern Colorado is hosting a fun Teen Service event at our biggest fundraising event of the year - the 17th Annual Y Splash Gala - and all teens are invited to help the logistics team during the auction. This free teen event gives high school students the opportunity to positively impact their Y community. Our teen volunteers will help sort, bag, and assemble items for distribution to the correct bidder at the end of the silent auction. Teen volunteers need to arrive to the lobby of the Lafayette YMCA (2800 Dagny Way) by 6 PM on September 11th and are to be picked up no later than 9 PM. Dinner will be provided for teens, please provide any dietary restrictions by Sept 4th. High school students may gain service hours from this event. Please wear comfortable shoes.

The mission of the Y Way to Play is to deliver quality sports programs that provide fun, foster sportsmanship and create opportunities for all to participate, learn and grow. The Y Way to Play applies varied levels of progressive competition and builds a sense of community, which prepares kids for life on and off the field. We rely 100% on Volunteer Coaches to teach our youth athletes the fundamentals of a variety of sports. We would love to have you out on the court or field helping the participants in our programs and making a difference in your community.
